This is a novel describing what life was like in the 1950s in the South. It involves two young white boys and a young black boy and their adventures. This is a family-oriented novel that makes several valid points without using foul language. It contains drama as well as humor and is well suited for ages seventh grade to adult. It is also available on Kindle and has received a number of very favorable reviews.
Dr. Ron Gleason holds a B.S. in Business Adminstration from The Citadel (1967), where he was a Distinguished Military Student, a member of the Dean's List, and a member of the Economic Honor Society. He also holds a Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (1975). He graduated "magna cum laude," was a Byington Teaching Fellow, and a member of the Phi Alpha Chi academic honor society. He holds a Drs. degree in Ethics from the Theological Seminary of the Reformed Churches in the Netherlands and a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia).
